The Under-Secretariat of Science, Innovation and Universities published that day in the BOE the resolution approving the provisional lists of admitted and excluded candidates, and from that date the 10 business days to correct any defects began running.

The original call dates from December 23, 2025 and provides for two access routes: the general open competition system and internal promotion. The resolution of June 11, 2026 not only publishes the provisional lists, but also modifies the composition of several selection tribunals at the proposal of four organizations: CIEMAT, ISCIII, INTA and CSIC.

What does this resolution establish?

The resolution regulates two differentiated aspects of the selective process:

1. Provisional lists of admitted and excluded candidates

The provisional lists of persons admitted and excluded in the selective process for entry into the Scientific Research Personnel Scale of the OPI are approved, both for open competition and internal promotion. The complete lists of admitted candidates will be published on the website of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities and on the websites of the destination organizations (CIEMAT, ISCIII, INTA, CSIC).

Candidates who appear as excluded or who do not appear in any of the lists (omitted) have 10 business days from publication in the BOE to submit their claim or correct the defects detected. This procedure must be carried out exclusively through electronic means; in-person or paper corrections are not accepted.

Those who do not correct within the deadline will be definitively excluded from the selective process, with no possibility of ordinary appeal at that stage.

2. Modification of selection tribunal members

At the proposal of the organizations CIEMAT, ISCIII, INTA and CSIC, several members of the selection bodies are modified. The changes affect numerous tribunals, both those corresponding to open competition and those for internal promotion. The newly designated members are incorporated into the tribunals effective from the publication of this resolution.

Operational impact for candidates

Although this resolution has no direct economic impact in the form of fees or costs, it does have critical operational impact for candidates:

• Definitive exclusion by inaction: Failure to correct within the 10 business days is equivalent to losing the position in the process, regardless of the candidate's academic or professional merits.
• Single correction channel: The requirement for electronic means implies that the candidate must have a valid digital certificate or Cl@ve access before the deadline expires.
• Tribunal changes: The modification of members in the selection bodies of CIEMAT, ISCIII, INTA and CSIC may affect the final composition of the tribunals that will evaluate the exercises, although it does not alter the bases of the call.
• Decentralized consultation: The complete lists of admitted candidates are not published in full in the BOE, but on the websites of the Ministry and each organization, which requires consulting multiple sources.

Since the resolution was published in the BOE on June 17, 2026, their correction deadline of 10 business days begins that same day. They must access the electronic office of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities with their digital certificate, provide the missing documentation, and register the correction before the deadline expires. If they do not do so, they will be definitively excluded from the process and will not be able to participate in the exercises, even if they had met the merit threshold required in the December 2025 call.

What should you do now?

1. Check the provisional lists today on the website of the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities and on the website of the organization you applied to (CIEMAT, ISCIII, INTA or CSIC). The lists are not published in full in the BOE.
2. Verify your status: check if you appear as admitted, excluded or omitted. If you cannot find your name in any list, you are in omitted status and can also correct.
3. Activate your digital certificate or Cl@ve before the 10 business day deadline from June 17, 2026 expires. Without valid electronic identification you will not be able to submit the correction.
4. Prepare the documentation that justifies the correction: identify the reason for exclusion indicated in the list and gather the documents that correct it.
5. Submit the correction through electronic means at the electronic office of the Ministry within the deadline. Save the registration receipt.
6. If you are a tribunal member and have been replaced or incorporated by the resolution, confirm your availability and note the new dates of action that the organization will communicate.
